Playboy Partners With The Sandbox

Playboy, the iconic lifestyle and entertainment brand, is partnering with The Sandbox to build the MetaMansion. The MetaMansion will feature gaming, social play, must-attend events, and NFT collections. Playboy first ventured into Web 3 in 2021 with an NFT drop called Liquid Summer, which sold out in 3 minutes.

“We’re thrilled to work with The Sandbox and its best-in-class design and development team to build a premium, customized Playboy gaming and social experience in the metaverse,” said Rachel Webber, Playboy Chief Brand & Strategy Officer.

Playboy launched its first NFT collectibles Playboy Rabbitars in October last year. Holders of the Rabbitar community, and The Sandbox LAND owners, will have access to the MetaMansion. “We can’t wait to invite our global Playboy fanbase, and in particular our Rabbitar community and The Sandbox LAND owners, into this new immersive world of Playboy,” said Webber.

Revolut Partners With Polkadot

Revolut, a British-based fintech company, is launching a free learn and earn program in partnership with Polkadot. The fintech company will launch two courses. The first course is a beginner-friendly blockchain course, and the other is a short course about the Polkadot blockchain. Users will also earn up to $15 worth of DOT tokens for participating.

“That’s right. We’re offering a free crypto education – a cryptocation if you will – and you can earn up to $15 worth of free DOT, the native token for the Polkadot network, by taking part! It’s a total win-win,” wrote Revolut in their blog.

The free courses will be short and easy to understand. They are for newbies, DOT token holders, and seasoned cryptocurrency enthusiasts. Also, users must complete both free courses to claim their free tokens. “We made our lessons short and easy to follow. They also use a mixture of short videos and text-based lessons to keep your mind engaged,” said Revolt.
