FTX U.S. Opens Stock Trading
FTX U.S., a U.S.-based cryptocurrency exchange, has opened a stock trading platform in all fifty states in the United States. The platform allows retail investors to invest in the U.S. equities market using the fiat-backed stablecoin USD Coin (USDC).
“FTX Stocks is now live for US users! Residents of all 50 states (yes, including NY!), as well as PR and USVI, can sign up. Trade hundreds of stocks and ETFs from both the web (https://ftx.us/stocks) and the FTX US Pro mobile app,” said Brett Harrison, the President of FTX US.
FTX Stocks routes all orders via the Nasdaq Exchange, allowing a transparent system. FTX US does not take a commission on trades. The FTX Stocks platform will allow retail traders to trade hundreds of stocks online and on mobile devices.
Immutable Games Lays Off 6% Of Staff
Immutable Games, an Australian-based Web3 gaming studio, is letting go of 6% of its staff members. The company decided to reorganize the Gods Unchained team. Gods Unchained is a leading free-to-play NFT card game where players can make money by trading their cards.
“We have decided to conduct a small reorganization within Gods Unchained to help better enable us to achieve our goal of creating the next generation of web3 games,” said an Immutable Games spokesperson.
Recently, Immutable Games raised $200 million in funding at a valuation of $2.5 billion. The company is still actively increasing hires across product, engineering, and tokenomics as it focuses on going mainstream. Since the beginning of the year, the company has grown from 180 to 280 employees.
Solana Opens A Physical Store
Solana, a fast and decentralized blockchain, has launched a physical Web3 store called Solana Spaces in Hudson Yards, New York. The store will provide visitors with educational content and help them smoothly onboard to the Solana blockchain.
