Binance Partners With Mastercard

Mastercard, the world’s fastest financial services provider, is collaborating with Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, to launch a Binance Card in Argentina. Mastercard CEO, Michael Miebach, stated yesterday on his personal Linkedin page that the corporation is collaborating with Binance to facilitate purchases in more than 90 million stores.

“We can unlock the full potential of blockchain technology when we make it easier to access + easier to use. One way we do that is by bringing crypto to everyday purchases. To make that a reality, we’re working with Binance to let people use their crypto to make purchases at 90m+ stores that accept Mastercard,” wrote Meibach on his profile.

The initiative will begin in Argentina, where national currency inflation is at 71% due to the Argentine Peso’s (ARS) long-term depreciation. In the last year, ARS has lost over a third of its value versus the US dollar. Now, 1 BTC is worth around 2.9 million ARS. The Argentine Peso’s fast collapse has been even more visible over the years. Four years ago, it lost three-quarters of its value versus the US dollar. Over the same period, Bitcoin has increased 114% versus the US dollar and 1,350% against the Mexican peso. The new collaboration will make it easier to access the world of cryptocurrencies.

Polygon Partners With GameSwift

GameSwift, a Web3 gaming developer, has entered into a strategic partnership with the Polygon network, a layer 2 scaling blockchain. The plan is to create an all-encompassing Gaming Ecosystem platform. GameSwift will build its chain based on the Polygon Edge technology. The new platform is geared to players and gaming protocols in the Web3 gaming arena to assist in solving the persistent difficulties stifling the sector’s growth.

‘We’re proud to announce that within a strategic partnership with @0xPolygon & @polygonstudios, we’re building the ecosystem of the first choice for web3 gaming! Overview of our zkEVM gaming #chain & more is awaiting you!” announced GameSwift on Twitter.

GameSwift is a decentralized and community-driven ecosystem. It plans to offer game creators and studios the ability to seamlessly integrate their Web2 games onto Web3. By enrolling Web2 players, the platform will accelerate the adoption of Web3 and blockchain gaming.

Cobie Donates $100,000 To Atozy

Cobie, a cryptocurrency influencer, donated $100,000 to Atozy, a cryptocurrency Youtuber. The funds will go toward Atozy’s legal defense against a lawsuit filed by fellow YouTuber BitBoy. Yesterday, Atozy took to Twitter, responding to BitBoy’s lawsuit by posting a “Go-Fund-Me” to raise legal fees.

“I’m crowdfunding to help cover the insane costs of defending myself against this frivolous lawsuit. All funds raised will go towards paying legal fees. If there is anything left over, I will donate them to various charities as I have no interest in profiting from my community,” posted Atozy on his Twitter page.
